Committees

The real work of the KLRA is done by a number of action-oriented committees with defined responsibilities.

The KLRA Board works to find volunteers, create Terms of Reference and support these action groups. 

Additional committees may be added when necessary. 

Standing Committees

Beach Committee: Maintains Nagaya Beach for cottagers and Kahshe lake residents. 

Rock Marker Committee: Works to minimize boating accidents due to hazardous rocks in the main channels of the Lake.

Water Access Committee: Investigates ways to ensure adequate long term parking and docking facilities for water-access-only properties.

Conservation Committee:  Created in 2013, this committee takes over the responsibilities of the KLPIC. 

Communications, Outreach and Membership Committee:  The COMcom group manages our newsletter, website, social media, Boutique and all things related to membership and outreach. 

Boating Safety Committee: 

Ad Hoc Committees

Ad hoc committees are created by the Board to achieve specific goals, after which they are discontinued.  At present, there are no ad hoc committees.
